36th Edition of Know India Programme (KIP) - Nominations invited- last date 30th August, 2016
We are pleased to inform that the Ministry of External Affairs is organizing the 36th edition of ‘Know India Programme’ (KIP) for the Indian-origin youth to familiarize them with India’s culture, heritage and also contemporary India.
This programme is open only for Indian origin Diaspora youth (i.e non-Indian passport holders) in the age 18-30 years (preference would be given to PIOs who have not visited India so far).
The 36th edition of the KIP is a 25-day programme from 3 - 27 October, 2016 with Punjab as the partner state where participants would travel as per schedule attached.
KIP participant should mandatorily hold an international travel and medical insurance before issuing his/her international ticket.
Applicants interested in participating in the 36th edition of KIP are requested to forward attached form duly filled, to the Consulate at dcgindia@indconosaka.org . Last date of submission is 30th August, 2016.
Selected participants would be required to purchase air ticket for their journey from the country of residence to India and back, as per schedule prescribed by the Ministry. On successful completion of the programme, 90% percent of the total cost of air ticket (at lowest economy excursion fare) would be reimbursed by the Consulate to the participant.
