VACANCY OF LOCALLY-RECRUITED CHAUFFER

Position:    Full-time Chauffeur

Working Hours: 0900-1730 hrs (Mon-Fri, 5 days a week)

Salary:       starting approximately JP¥210,000 per month, overtime allowance for additional driving hours, possibility of two months bonus

Expected Qualifications:

1. High school degree from a recognized school
2. Native Japanese language fluency
3. Conversational proficiency in English

Age:                     up to 50 years

Experience:         minimum 5 years of driving experience in Japan

Language:           working knowledge of English

Skills:                   navigation

Duties and Responsibilities:

To drive an official vehicle of the Consulate. There may be additional responsibilities concerning office work as required from time to time. There may be occasions where one may have to work beyond usual hours and/or on holiday (s) for which there is compensation by way of overtime allowance.

Mode of selection:       a short test and interview
